Aviva (Rugby)

The creation of Lansdowne Road Stadium was the vision of Henry William Dunlop, an outstanding young athlete who organised the first All Ireland Athletics Championships. His vision was to create a purpose built venue for sporting events and this he did at Lansdowne Road where the Stadium first opened for athletics in 1872.

The old stadium had a long an proud history of hosting world class athletics and sporting events but it also has seen some of the worlds best artists including: Frank Sinatra, Liza Minelli and Sammy Davies Junior, Michael Jackson, Celine Dion, Neil Diamond, Bon Jovi, The Eagles, U2, REM.

Aviva Stadium have collected a number of awards since the stadium opened its doors in May 2010. The stadium has received recognition for architectural design, build and for its commitment to sustainability.

The Royal Hotel is minutes walk to Bray DART station. The DART runs a regular service to and from the Aviva stadium and is only a thirty minute journey along the coast with scenic views along Killiney Bay.

Croke Park (Gaelic)

Croke Park has been at the heart of Irish sporting life for over a hundred years and is located !km away from Dublin City Centre. The stadium is the home of Gaelic games and the headquarters of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA).

Croke Park has a capacity of 82,300 and is the fourth largest stadium in Europe after Barcelona’s Nou Camp, Wembley in London and the Bernabeu in Madrid.

This year the stadium will be the venue for two of the biggest concerts held in Dublin this year- One Direction and Garth Brooks.

RDS (Leinster Rugby)

The Main Arena is home to Leinster Rugby and has a covered seating and standing capacity of 18,000 and private boxes for corporate or personal entertainment.

The RDS also hosts other sporting events and is most famously known as the venue for the International Show Jumping competitions during the world renowned Dublin Horse Show in August of each year.The RDS is located just minutes from Dublin city centre on a 42-acre site.
