Love staying at the Royal. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are a good size and we have always found a good standard of cleanliness. Grandchildren love the pool. Its handy for the DART for a day out in Dublin.

My wife and i had a great time at the hotel. The food and staff were excellent. We are already planning a longer stay with our son to make the most of the facilities.

My husband and myself stayed in the hotel for two nights just before Christams and we absolutely loved it. We were taken by the charm of the place, it is cosy, comfortable and is perfectly located close to both the centre of Bray and the sea. An added bonus was the very good leisure centre with a really nice warm pool, sauna and steam room. the staff were polite and helpful and the room was nice, clean, spacious and comfortable. Definately a place we will be returning to.

Love Love Love this hotel, room was clean and beds were very comfy, food was lovely, free swimming pool etc was brill, 3rd time staying here, can't fault it at all, can't wait to go back in the summer xx

The room we were allocated was exactly what we had asked for and the bed arrangements 3 were spot on. It was an excellent room and a great stay. This is about the 20th time we have stayed here and would stay again. It would be useful if you could book a room by the room number.

My husband+i spent our 2nd wedding anniversary at the royal hotel+as soon as we arrived we had a lovely welcome+wished a happy anniversary.we were directed to our room+in our room we had a box of sweets,sparkling water+an anniversary card from the staff.we were very impressed.room was very spacious+comfortable+food was nice for the price.we were well impressed with our stay+hope to return in may 2013.thank you for a lovely trip. We had a really good deal at the Royal and were pleased to find ourselves in a comfortable,friendly hotel. The food was good and plentiful, staff friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the gym and pool.

I loved this break. I work a very stressful job, and this is just what i needed. i went swimming twice a day, spent hours in the hot tub, and the sauna and steam was great. great food and great service. i cannot fault this hotel. i may be planning on coming down at the start of january. i will have my husband and two daughters with me. hopefully there will be special offers. the only thing, as the hot tub is for over 16s, my 7 year old will not be happy.

Very happy with our two night zoo package stay with the Royal. Very reasonable rates for our stay for two adults and three children with breakfast and one dinner included for all. Room although decor slightly dated was very clean and attended too adequately. Family room was of decent size only downside if was to stay again would request a room towards back of hotel as ours was adjacent to the main road and you could hear constant traffic/ pedestrian crossing beeping etc slightly annoying on first night but could blank it out by the time second night came. Leisure facilities/ meals/ bar food all excellent and cater for children. Overall very happy and def will return

We went for a short weekend break for our 10th wedding anniversary to the Royal Hotel. We couldnt have asked for a nicer or more pleasent hotel to stay at: The hotel room was very clean, snug and warm, the hotel staff was always kind and chatty. We were recommend a stay at the Royal Hotel to anyone and will be staying there again ourselves.

Stayed at The Royal on a few occasions now for a wedding and birthday party staff always polite and rooms are clean. I came over from Liverpool and have friends in Bray and Shankhill.

My wife and I spent four nights at the Royal and found both reception and dining room staff efficient courteous and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable and the food was very good. We would certainly recommend this hotel.

had a very enjoyable stay excellant room service only complaint would be, you are not informed that there is a small charge for car parking when booking would reccomend to anyone to stay

This was my 2nd stay in this hotel in the space of 4 years the revamped leisure centre was excellent. enjoyed the food and evening entertainment. the staircase need a clean up now
