The Royal Hotel is located a mere 5 minute walk from Bray’s DART Station. The DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transport) is a regular service and a journey into Dublin’s City centre takes merely 40 minutes. Also, situated opposite the hotel is a bus stop with two services (Bus Numbers 145 & 84) which will take you directly into Dublin’s city centre.

Directions from Dublin Airport

  1. At Airport Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the M1 SPUR (signposted Dublin, Belfast M1)
  2. At roundabout take the 2nd exit, then join the M1 motorway (signposted Dublin)
  3. Leave the M1 at junction 1 (Junction with M50) then take left-hand lanes, then join the M50 motorway (signposted Other Routes, Southbound)
  4. At Junction 6 continue forward onto the M50 toll motorway (signposted Southbound - Toll)
  5. M50 Toll (Barrier Free)
  6. Continue forward onto the M11 motorway (signposted Wexford)
  7. From the M50 and N11, take the Bray North exit (Junction 5) and turn right into Bray at the roundabout.
  8. Follow the main road through Bray. - Visible from a distance, The Royal Hotel, Merrill Leisure Club is located just above the River Dargle, on the left-hand side of the hill.

Directions from Dublin Port

  1. Start out on Terminal Road South
  2. At roundabout take the 1st exit onto Terminal Road South (signposted Port Exit, All Routes)
  3. Continue forward onto Terminal Road North
  4. Bear left onto Tolka Quay Road
  5. Turn right onto Bond Drive
  6. At roundabout take the 1st exit onto Promenade Road
  7. Branch left, then merge onto the R131
  8. At traffic signals continue forward onto East Wall Road - R131 (signposted Dublin Port - Terminal 3)
  9. The O2 Arena
  10. At Junction 79 roundabout take the 1st exit onto the R131 (signposted Dun Laoghaire N11 via Toll Bridge)
  11. Cross River Liffey
  12. East Link Toll Bridge
  13. Junction 81, at traffic signals turn left onto Beach Road - R131 (signposted Sandymount, N11)
  14. Turn left onto Merrion Road - R118
  15. Turn left onto Stillorgan Road - N11
  16. At traffic signals continue forward onto Stillorgan Road - N11 (signposted Wexford
  17. At traffic signals continue forward onto Cabinteely Bypass (signposted Wexford)
  18. At traffic signals continue forward onto Bray Road - N11 (signposted Wexford)
  19. At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the M11
  20. Take Junction 5 on M11 (Bray North)
  21. Follow the main road through Bray. - Visible from a distance, The Royal Hotel, Merrill Leisure Club is located just above the River Dargle, on the left-hand side of the hill.

  1. Leave Dun Laoghaire Port & continue forward onto Queen's Road
  2. At traffic signals turn left onto Harbour Road
  3. At roundabout take the 3rd exit
  4. Continue forward onto Marine Road - R118
  5. Turn left onto Upper George's Street - R119
  6. Continue forward onto Killiney Hill Road - R119
  7. At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Shanganagh Road - R119
  8. At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Dublin Road - R119 (signposted Bray, Shankill)
