Croke Park Stadium Dublin
Located on the north side of Dublin city centre, Croke Park is one of the largest venues in Ireland. Since its recent development the stadium now has capacity for up to 82,000 people and is said to be the fourth largest stadium in Europe. 1.6 million people visited Croke Park in 2005 and this is expected to increase to over two million in 2006.
The stadium is comprised of three impressive stands, the Cusack, Canal and Hogan Stands and is completed by the Hill 16 and Nally Terrace. Parking is available in Croke Park Stadium for up to 600 vehicles (for non-match events only) and the venue is easily accessible by public transport.
Croke Park is not only a host for GAA supporters and players, but for exhibitions conference, historians, musicians, architects and engineers. Thus playing an important role in Dublin life.
